Enclosing [not present] 20 Thaler representing the commission on his daughter's [Cäcilie's] contract at the Riga opera house, where she is enjoying success as Norma [in Bellini's opera], Lucrezia [in Donizetti's opera], Constanze [in Mozart's Entführung], Antonina, Marie ("die Regiments Tochter"), and Martha [in Flotow's opera], asking him to print a report of his daughter's success in his journal and to send the score and libretto of Act II of Die Hochländerin, expressing the hope that there may be engagements for his daughter in Germany since both she and he would like to return, etc.
